What's DBA?
DBA, an acronym for Doing Business As, refers to a company or individual running a business under a name other than the legal name. A DBA can be likened to an “assumed name”, a “fictitious business name” or a “trade name”.
There are no limits to the number of DBAs or assumed names a business can use.
If your company needs a trade name that’s easier to market than its formal name, selecting a DBA is the way to go.
